The Three Higher Trainings:
Practicing the Buddhist Path
Sundays
April 19 - May 3
10:00 - 11:15 am
“The three higher trainings are the actual method to obtain permanent liberation from the sufferings of this life and countless future lives.” – Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
The practice of the stages of the path to liberation can be condensed into the three higher trainings of higher moral discipline, higher concentration and higher wisdom. These trainings are called ‘higher’ because they are motivated by renunciation. They are therefore the actual path to liberation that we need to practise.
Each week we will explore how to develop a beneficial motivation and bring these practices into our daily life. Everyone is welcome!
No Buddhist background or meditation experience required. You may drop-in any week or attend the full series.
Live-streaming on Zoom is available for supporting members. Supporting members can request the live-stream link here.
