Happier Holidays

Thursdays
November 7 - December 12
6 - 7:15 pm

We often feel indifferent or even dismissive towards people in our lives. The holidays provide us a wonderful opportunity to practice positive mental attitudes and actions that make our mind peaceful and loving. With all of the extra activity and heightened expectations during the holiday season, sometimes we experience stress or anxiety. For many it can be a difficult time of loneliness and longing for happier times. In this series with Rob Lutz, we will explore Buddha’s teachings to help us expand our mind of love and grow closer to others. Everyone is welcome!

Schedule:

November 7 – The real source of our problems

November 14 – Dealing with unpleasant feelings

November 21 –  Mental practices to bring us closer to others

December 5 – Who is the real enemy?

December 12 – Walk like a Buddhist: How to hold a positive mind in difficult situations
