In this series, Resident Teacher Rob Lutz will explain the meditations and teachings presented in Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s highly acclaimed book, The New Eight Steps to Happiness. This book presents many methods for transforming life’s difficulties into valuable spiritual insights, for improving our relationships, and for bringing greater patience, empathy and compassion into our daily life. These methods have inspired generations of meditation practitioners for almost a thousand years, and brought peace, inspiration and serenity to countless people. Through practicing the meditations presented in this book, we will eventually gain a stable and lasting experience of inner peace and happiness.

These classes include two guided meditations, a teaching, and inspiring prayers for world peace.

Rob Lutz

Rob Lutz is the Resident Teacher of Tushita Kadampa Buddhist Center and has been practicing Kadam Dharma for over 20 years. He has been teaching Dharma since 2008 and loves helping people integrate Buddha's teachings into their daily lives. He is a student of the Teacher Training Program and teaches the Foundation Program at Kadampa Meditation Center WA in Seattle. His teachings are clear and practical and he shows his dedication through his excellent example.
