Pure Mind, Pure World
The Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva

Buddha Vajrasattva Empowerment-12

January 4, 2025
10 am - 4 pm

Vajrasattva is the purified consciousness of all the Buddhas. His special function is to purify our minds of delusions and negative karma. By relying sincerely on Buddha Vajrasattva we can purify ourselves and become a completely pure being, just like Buddha Vajrasattva.

An empowerment is a blessing ritual and guided meditation through which we make a deep connection with an enlightened Buddha and create the cause to achieve that Buddha’s enlightened state. By connecting with the Buddha of purification, Vajrasattva, we can dissolve away our bad habits, negativity, sickness, and obstacles, allowing our own mind’s natural purity and joy to shine through. Through purifying our mind, we will gradually come to experience a pure world and lasting inner peace. When we have completely purified our mind there will be no further basis for us to experience any kind of pain or suffering. In the commentary, Gen Rinzin will explain the purification practice of Vajrasattva, Meditation and Recitation of Solitary Vajrasattva.
