The purpose of our meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. When we meditate, we concentrate on a virtuous object. This single-pointed virtuous mind is the main cause of mental peace, the true source of happiness.
We will receive advice and encouragement, based on the book New Meditation Handbook, so that our meditations will be effective. We will see that as we gain experience, gradually our mind becomes peaceful. Eventually, we will be peaceful all the time, even in the most adverse conditions.
