Guru Yoga Mandala Offering Retreat
May 7 – May 12
What is Guru Yoga?
Guru yoga is a special powerful method that enables us to receive the blessings of all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and holy beings. Through clearly understanding the meaning of Guru yoga and the purpose of engaging in this practice, we can prevent doubt and confusion and thus be able to concentrate on this practice without hesitation. Guru yoga is done as a preliminary practice in retreat together with making mandala offerings. When making mandala offerings to our Spiritual Guide and other holy beings, we are in reality offering them the entire universe.
Why engage in this retreat?
We all wish for spiritual realizations, but this depends upon many preliminary practices such as purifying negativity, accumulating merit and receiving blessings. In this annual retreat, we focus on the preliminary practices of accumulating merit, or positive energy, by making mandala offerings and receiving blessings by engaging in Guru Yoga practice.
Who can engage in this retreat?
Our Guru Yoga Mandala Offering Retreat is open to practitioners of all levels.
