We often believe that our own capacity for love, compassion, or patience is very limited: we will never be able to cherish certain people, happily accept certain difficult circumstances, or develop deep compassion for all living beings. While our capacity for these minds may be limited right now, our potential is not. Our belief that we are so limited is actually the main thing standing in our way. Yet, when we love others, we naturally feel warm-hearted toward them and wish for them to be happy.
In this series we will learn traditional Buddhist meditations that help us to increase our love for others so that we instinctively show them kindness and compassion. Classes will be led by guest Teacher Steve Maddox.
No class on July 4
